Chef Ana was a revelation. She and her assistant prepared two incredible dinners for our group of 11. The first night was a menu with his interpretation of classic Portuguese dishes and the second night was a showcase of his vision of Portuguese fusion. The food was sublime, innovative and clearly prepared with love. As suas explicações para o grupo melhoraram a experiência. Chef Ana was communicative from day one. She helped us with the menu, as we had allergies in our group, etc. We loved the breads and aioli sauce, the filo cheese appetizer, and the chocolate dessert – those were the highlights for us. Ana was very flexible with our menu choices and advised us on every dish, using only the best seasonal produce. We were a large group of 10 people, but she managed to advise on a suitable menu for everyone’s needs. The food was exceptional and the service was brilliant. Ana explained all the dishes and was a welcoming energy for the evening (not to mention she left everything IMPECCABLE!). Our dinner at our rental in Porto, prepared and served by Ana Novo, was the highlight of our stay in Portugal. From my first consultation with Ana, she was excellent at answering any and all questions. She was able to accommodate our food allergies without compromising the taste of our meal. The meal she created was delicious and satisfying. We left the table full, but not overly so. From the stuffed mushroom starter to the caramel cream dessert, everything exceeded our expectations. Ana is a chef and a human being of the highest caliber. Her warmth and kindness were apparent. I highly recommend her. You won’t be disappointed.

Ana and her assistant were amazing, they cooked up a wonderful meal for myself and nine others! The table was set up beautifully and when they were done they cleaned up and left the kitchen spotless. Ana also called in advance to make sure she had everything in order to prepare and cook, she also offered to bring anything that was missing. Would 100% recommend to anyone, it takes the stress away from doing it yourself so you can enjoy and relax.

She was such a pleasure to talk with during planning and very thorough on questions and updates up to her arrival. Most importantly this was our favorite meal in Portugal! Experiencia calida, muy agradable, amistosa, profesional. Nos hizo sentir como viejos amigos. Fue una ocasion memomarble. El espacio era pequeño, la ocasion muy importante y el chef desconocido asi que las probabilidades de que no fuera la mejor experiencia eran altas. Ana fue memorable. Dulce y calida desde el primer momento. Sus platos excelentes sin ser rebuscados. Ojala podamos repetir muchas veces!

I organized an 80th birthday party for my husband in an Airbnb in Porto for our blended family of 14. We wanted a welcome dinner for everyone, and I found Chef Ana Novo online. She was very responsive to my questions ahead of time, and made us a delicious buffet dinner highlighting typical Portuguese food. We had a vegetarian and a gluten free guest and she handled both these perfectly and with imagination. Everyone agrees it was one of the best meals we had in Porto. Thank you Ana!

We had a truly special evening with Ana and can wholeheartedly recommend her. The food was simply outstanding! In advance, we had the option to select the five courses ourselves or let ourselves be completely surprised. We chose to make the selection—and didn’t regret that decision for a moment. Ana’s cooking is incredibly creative, clever, and sophisticated all at once. Every course was perfectly balanced in flavor, beautifully presented, and full of little surprises. The individual components harmonized perfectly without ever feeling overdone. With every course, it was evident just how much thought, passion, and creativity went into the preparation.
We were delighted by every single course—it wasn’t just very good food, but a genuine culinary experience. Added to this was the wonderful atmosphere of the entire evening. Ana herself is an incredibly warm, personable, and attentive person.

What started off as a surprise birthday present for my partner turned into my surprise engagement !!!
